One or two attentive readers may have noticed: in our contributions here at Pressegers, there are new social sharing buttons. We chose the plug-in Simple Share Buttons Adder. The name is program: with a few clicks you have nice buttons on your page, which you can then adapt flexibly.

The plugin SimpleShare Buttons Adder adds a set of buttons to your WordPress site on their social media channels to share about visitors your site content. Here you have a number of ways to configure the buttons.

The list of features reads well - but how do the buttons and their customization possibilities look like? We are currently using the free version of the plugin. How the buttons look in action, you can look in this and all other contributions above and below the text.
Do you have the Simple Share Buttons Adder installed, you can in the WordPress backend under Settings> Simple Share Buttons make the required adjustments. The plugin is divided into five tabs in the backend: Core, Styling, Counters, Advanced and CSS. We show you what options you have in the various riders.
Core: basic functions of the plugin
In the tab Core you take before the basic settings for the display. You select the pages on which the buttons should be displayed (posts, pages, categories, homepage, extracts) and where the buttons should be placed (before or after the content, or both). In addition, you can specify a text snippet, which should be in front of the buttons.

The most important function in the core rider is the selection of social networks. You can drag and drop individual buttons into a selected box and adjust their order.

Styling: customize buttons, text & container
After the basic settings is styling it. In this tab you can first select the desired set of buttons or upload your own graphics, as well as their size, orientation, and spacing.

In addition, you can customize the font of the text that appears in front of your buttons. Finally you can style the container containing your buttons and possibly the text.
